Mike Zambidis is ready for the next big battle in Australia on Friday, May 27 for the world title IWKF (International World Kickboxing Federation).
Iron Mike and his team departed for Melbourne, where our champion will face Australian John Wayne Parr in a tough fight, which will seal the best fighter.
The title of the event is PAYBACK TIME - THE DECIDER and suggests the importance of this match as both fighters have fought twice before.
The first meeting of the two fighters dating back to 2002 under K-1 WORLD MAX Oceania Tournament, Australia, in which Mike was named the winner after three rounds too.
The second meeting took place in 2009, again in Australia (Melbourne), the organization PAYBACK TIME where in the race 5 laps Parr succeeded and got the revenge he sought with little difference in points.
This will be the third and decisive battle between the two top athletes once again in Melbourne.
Along with Iron Mike will be traveling Babis Papadopoulos his coach Alexander Papadionysiou his gymnast and Sotiris Tsafoulias his friend, in the belief that another world title will be added to the collection of Greek Champion!
The organization PAYBACK TIME-THE DECIDER, will be held Friday, May 27, 2011, while the great struggle of Iron Mike is scheduled for 22:00 pm (local time in Melbourne, Australia).
